| upstreamNet measures the utilization of the transfer port using
MRTG-(Multi Router Traffic Graph) Software and taking the following steps: every five
minutes it measures the intersection of the utilized data using the client switchport.
That information is recorded and graphically displayed in a logfile. These five-minute-intersections add up to about 8500 single units per month. The highest 5 percent (425 units) are deducted – that makes about 35 hours, in which the facilities have been used to the highest extend – the customers are then charged the remaining 95 percent. |
