Equipment Surveillance through APAMS
| The availability of the clients’ equipment depends not only on how
stable the hard- and software are, but also on the quality of the company. Company critical applications demand simple and clear company concepts. Among other things, these include, actively monitoring the client infrastructure with modern software solutions. The APAMS (Automated Pro-Active Monitoring Service) facilitates controlling and establishing escalation procedures. The entire clients’ equipment is tested automatically on a regular basis. The clients can in particular conduct tests such as PING, HTTP, FTP, SMTP, HTTPS, POP3, DNS or NNTP. The CSFTI (Check For Significant Traffic Change) module, for example, compares the bandwidth used within the last 30 minutes with the average workload used the days before. If they are x-times higher than those previously measured, the clients are automatically informed. |
